Ready to unplug, leave your devices behind and experience pure joy, timelessness, and a renewed connection to your self, others and the Earth?Ready to log off the “Web” and log on to the natural Web of Life?
Join us for this unique all-outdoors experience on 200 acres of pristine Shawangunk foothills in NY’s Mid-Hudson Valley.We will disconnect to reconnect, leaving behind our computers, cell phones, social media, clocks, credit card info and adult cares… and trade them in for wild games, barefoot wandering in the woods, tracking wild animals, spending time in solitude, cooking over an open fire together and sleeping under the stars.
Through it all, we will create a community together, playing, learning, cooking, eating, singing and storytelling. You will have the opportunity to remember your original instructions, to remember yourself, and say YES to life.

Experiential activities include:
- Exploring and wandering in silence & solitude
- Playing super fun nature awareness games
- Gathering edible & medicinal plants
- Learning to be invisible in the woods
- Practicing fire making and tending skills
- Creating natural arts & crafts
- Building forts and natural shelters
- Cooking over an open fire
For: Adults (limited to 16 adults)

About the Facilitators:
David Brownstein
David worked as a wealth advisor on Wall Street for twelve years before realizing a life dream – fully sharing in the care and parenting of his three children, and creating a small family farm. Today, the Brownsteins raise dairy cows, goats, chickens, bees and vegetables in season. In 2004, David co-founded and, today, is the Executive Director of Wild Earth, where he seeks to regenerate healthy community culture and create opportunities for people to connect with themselves, each other and the Earth. David also maintains an active mentoring & counseling practice called Root Connections, where he helps individuals, couples, groups, community and business leaders identify and manifest their unique vision. |
Eden Gal
Eden grew up in a small intentional community (Kibbutz) in the Israeli desert. From a young age he was wandering the wilderness, farming, and participating in communal living. After working as a pre-school teacher and a counselor for troubled youth, Eden went on to deepening his studies in nature awareness, Permaculture and native survival skills in the United States. Eden also spent several years traveling worldwide, learning traditional living skills from indigenous cultures in Central America, Asia, India and New-Zealand, seeking to understand the relationship between social and inner sustainability, between ancient and modern lifestyles, the natural world and the wild-within. In 2010 Eden founded True Nature education center and sustainable farm, with the intention of creating a learning-circle and community for exploring the deeper aspects of sustainability, weaving together nature awareness, viable living skills and personal regeneration. |
